The National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) is developing a webApp to provide tools and resources to museum professionals for better interaction and support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

To introduce this initiative and gather feedback on its use, we are organizing a practical session for direct experimentation. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the platform, test it, and contribute to its improvement.

10:00 – Welcome Remarks. Antonella Poce, Full Professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and Guillem d’Efak Fullana Ferré, Head of Community Engagement, Public Programs, and Communication at MNAC

10:15 – Talk: “Museums for Everyone – Integrating ASD at MNAC”. Mariona López Corominas, activist for the rights of individuals with ASD

10:45 – Talk: “What is ASD?”. Mental Health Team from the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital

12:00 – 14:00 – Presentation and Hands-On Testing of the Digital Platform. Led by Teresa Fèrriz, researcher in Arts and Health

The goal of this session is to provide a space for reflection and experimentation, allowing museum professionals to familiarize themselves with the platform and offer suggestions for its improvement before its final implementation.
